Processing on your device
All joining happens on your device. The app makes no network connections at all; the Mac app does not even have the network entitlement. Gotchacode never receives your documents.

Your documents stay on your device. That is the whole design.
Gotcha PDF Joiner joins PDFs and images into a single PDF on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. This policy describes how the app handles the files you give it, what it stores, and the information you choose to share with support.
The short version: everything happens on your device, the app makes no network connections, and Gotchacode never sees your documents.

What the app stores, and who can receive information.
Data stored by the app
The only thing the app stores is a preference recording whether you have seen the introduction screen. It does not keep copies of your documents after it quits.
Support email
If you contact Gotchacode for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or device details. We use that information only to respond and improve the app.
No ads or sale of data
Gotcha PDF Joiner does not sell your personal information. The app has no account, developer backend, advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party SDKs.
Your files
The app reads a file only when you pick it, drop it, or share it to the app. Files are held in memory while the window is open, and the app does not keep copies of your documents after it quits. The joined PDF is written only to the location you choose.
Photos
Add from Photos uses Apple’s private system photo picker. The app receives only the specific images you select and has no access to the rest of your photo library.
Network and third parties
Gotcha PDF Joiner makes no network connections. It has no account, no developer-operated backend, and no analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs. No information about you or your documents is sent to Gotchacode or anyone else by the app.
Children
Gotchacode does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
