Gotcha RSS Feed stores feed subscriptions, cached feed articles, read and new article status, and preferences locally on each device. Newsboat-style URL-list imports are processed locally.

Gotcha RSS Feed is a native RSS and Atom reader for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This policy describes the information stored on your device, requests to publishers and websites, and information you choose to share with support.
The short version: your library stays on your device, there are no ads, and Gotchacode does not sell your information.

Accounts and synchronization
The app does not require an account and has no developer-operated backend. Version 1.1.0 does not provide cross-device or iCloud synchronization. Gotchacode does not receive your feed subscriptions or reading history through an app backend.
Support email
If you contact Gotchacode for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, logs, screenshots, or device details. We use that information only to respond and improve the app.
No ads or sale of data
Gotcha RSS Feed does not sell your personal information. The app has no advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
Feeds and website requests
When Gotcha RSS Feed refreshes feeds or loads article content, your device contacts the feed publisher or website directly. Those publishers may receive normal request information, such as your IP address and user agent, according to their own privacy practices. Linked websites may use cookies or other website technologies under their own privacy policies.
Diagnostics
Apple may provide App Store, TestFlight, or crash diagnostics according to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy practices. Gotchacode uses diagnostics only to fix crashes and improve reliability.
Children
Gotchacode does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
